Upon receiving the adidas Samba OG in White Energy Ink Gum, I was immediately impressed by the design. The color combination of white with subtle green accents and a gum sole is visually appealing and versatile for various outfits. The inclusion of both black and white laces is a thoughtful touch, adding to the versatility of the shoe.
Size & Fit
Sizing was a bit of a challenge. I wear a US size 8, and based on other reviews, I decided to size down to a US 7.5. This was a good decision as the shoes do run slightly larger. However, they are also a bit narrow which might be uncomfortable for those with wider feet. I found that they fit well with socks and provided enough toe room for added comfort during warmer weather when feet tend to swell.
Comfort & Wearability
The shoes are comfortable and lightweight, making them ideal for extended wear. Despite the narrow fit, the leather material offers some flexibility after breaking them in. I did experience some initial discomfort around the heel, but this improved with use. They are not the most cushioned shoes available, but they provide adequate support for casual wear.

I waited weeks for these to arrive, only to receive the wrong size. I ordered a women’s size 9 and got a size 5 1/2 instead, which isn’t even an available option. How did this happen? The shoes are incredibly cute, but I’m extremely disappointed.

These are beautiful, and I want to help clarify the confusing Adidas sizes. I usually wear a size 8 in American sizing and a 5.5 in UK sizing. On the shoe, it says US 7.5 and UK 6, but they fit like an 8.5 US. So, size down by half to one full size. These are a bit big on me, but with socks, there’s plenty of toe room. This will be welcome in summer when feet are warmer or slightly swollen from exercise and heat. They look and feel great and come with both black and white laces. They pair perfectly with white, ivory, or black pants, as well as casual dresses. I plan to wear mine with a full-length black dress, kimono, or Adidas track pants. I might even wear the track pants under the dress.

Overall, it’s a very nice shoe – however, after only wearing it twice for short periods, I already feel that it’s giving way on the inside and not providing any support. I have very narrow feet, so it’s not an issue with foot shape. I don’t feel comfortable in this shoe!
